Anne-Lise Coste (b. 1973, Marseille) studied in Marseille and Zürich and is currently based in New York. This French artist's drawings possess the energy, immediacy and gestural drive of ur-graffiti, while her Dadaesque texts fuse subjective moods with scathing political criticism.
