Lois Hechenblaikner

For decades now, photographer Lois Hechenblaikner has been tirelessly observing and documenting changes in Alpine society owing to tourism in the region, most recently in his previous photo book «Ischgl». Working together with cultural scientist Andrea Kühbacher and Rolf Zollinger, the last Hotel Waldhaus manager, Hechenblaikner has now reconstructed the social ambiance at the grand hotel using the extant file cards.
