Trix Haussmann

Trix (real name: Beatrix) Haussmann-Högl (born 6 November 1933 in Chur) is a Swiss architect, interior architect and designer. She was married to Robert Haussmann until his death in 2021; together they were known as Trix + Robert Haussmann. Trix and Robert Haussmann (b. October 23, 1931 in Zurich; † September 21, 2021) form what is probably Switzerland's best-known architect and designer couple internationally. As a working partnership, they influenced residential culture for several decades, not only in Switzerland but internationally. They proved that the union of two personalities with different training can lead to an exciting multifaceted work.
