Emil Michael Klein
Biography
Trained as a wood carver in Brienz, Switzerland, Klein studied art at the HGK in Basel. In 2013 he took his master’s degree in visual arts at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL). Winner of Basel’s Manor Art Award in 2008, he was also awarded a grant from the Canton of Valais in 2014.
Following Filled in, outlined (2011) and PAINTINGS 16 (2016), Emil Michael Klein’s third artist’s book is now to be published by Edition Patrick Frey.
