Gundi Feyrer
Biography
Born 1956 in Heilbronn/Neckar, architectural stonemason (Freiburg/B), studied sculpture at the Munich Art Academy, free art at the Academy of Fine Arts, Hamburg with Franz-Erhardt Walther, Tomas Schmit, Gerhard Rühm. Parallel pleasure studies: physics, art history, ancient Egyptology, philosophy.
Since 1980 material books, drawing, animated films, videos, radio plays, theater pieces, translations from English and Spanish, performances with word, image and sound, own music. Artist's editions (drawing/text) as well as poetic prose with and without drawing published by Wiens Verlag Berlin, Ritter Verlag Klagenfurt, Passagen Verlag Vienna and others. Most recently with Ritter Verlag Klagenfurt "Das Rauschen der Tage - Phantastische Geschichten und anderes Irren", spring 2014.
Since 1992 lived for extended periods in Rome, Paris, Graz, Vienna, Madrid, Aranjuéz, Córdoba. Currently in Vienna and Málaga.
