Jimena Croceri

Jimena Croceri (based in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a multimedia visual artist. Intention and experimentation, resistance and fluidity, characterize her artistic practice. Through an experimental method which is neither rational nor sterile and is based on curiosity rather than precision, her work focuses on several concepts : time, chance, collaboration, correlation and coincidence. Producing collective knowledge together with others, both human and non-human, has been key to Croceri's practice. Her work does not foreground authorship, but neither does it disavow it.  Using both everyday and naturally-occurring materials, her work probes points of flexibility between gestures rituals and performance.
