Philipp Tingler
Biography
Philipp Tingler (b. 1970 in West Berlin) is a Swiss-German writer and literary critic. Tingler studied economics and philosophy at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), the London School of Economics and the University of Zürich and worked at the Institute for Economic Research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich. He is a former scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation and was co-editor of an economic case study in 2002. He completed his doctorate on the work of Thomas Mann at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zürich.
