Sandro Fischli

Biography

Sandro Fischli (b.1951) lives in Bern. Son of the artist Hans Fischli and brother of the artist Peter Fischli, himself neither an artist nor an art historian, but with a great penchant for concrete art in particular. As director of the School of Arts and Crafts in the 1950s, Hans Fischli immediately recognised Max Wiederkehr's potential. His son would later follow in his footsteps. Earned a living as a proofreader, translator, editor, also for texts by an artist such as Manon and an author such as Martin Frank. Retired social worker. Very sporadic publications as a freelance author (e.g. in Morgan Is Sad Today Edition Patrick Frey, 2015).
